We have two virtue awards this week. They go to Andrew and Grace for using perseverance and courage. You did an amazing job learning and performing the alphabet rap at assembly. You amazed everyone!
Week 4 Week Six
Our Virtue award this week goes to Caitlin for her amazing creativity with her writing. Over the year you have created some amazing pieces of writing which include lots of detail and fabulous vocabulary. Well done Caitlin!
Term 4 Week Five
Our virtue award this week goes to Emma. Over the year you have created many wonderful pieces of writing because each time you build on your stars and work on your wishes. Last week you created some excellent poems about the production and 'chubby hamsters'. You selected powerful vocabulary to include in your poems.
You always use excellence to complete every task. Keep up the good work.
Term 4 Week Three
Our Virtue award this week goes to Ray Ray. You are always enthusiastic and willing to give everything your best. This week you did a great piece of writing about trampoline world and have been a super star preparing for our production.
Our Excellence award this week goes to Andrew. You have been absolutely awesome 'leading' our production item. You have practiced hard and know our production item well. All of the children look to you for guidance.
Term 4 Week Two
Adam receives our Excellence Award this week. Adam you always try your very best in every aspect of school life. You are a great team player and work well independently. You have been working hard to improve your writing and you are succeeding. Keep up the great work!
Term 4 Week One
Our Excellence awards this week goes to..... Theo. You have worked so hard this week in Maths to master DIVISION. You are beginning to develop some good strategies. To help solve the problems you are using multiplicative thinking. Way to go! Also, your recount was superb as you included lots of detail and effective vocabulary.
Week 9 Term 3
Jason and Billi-Roa receive our awards this week. You both show excellent resilience. Myself and others have noticed how well you can ignore others who are not making good choices. You have superb self-management skills.
Week 8 Term 3
Our virtue award this week goes to Luke. You are always very kind, caring and compassionate. I have noticed you quietly supporting all of your buddies and encouraging them to do their best.
Week 8 Term 3
Our first Excellence award this week goes to Emma for her amazing narrative she is creating. You have created a good storyline and included some great vocabulary.
Our next Excellence award goes to Andrew. Mrs Nepia said that in Maths Matters you are AMAZING! You're a team player and encourage your buddies as well as offering good advice. I can't wait to see how your team goes on Wednesday.

Awesome Cross Country running Georgiana. I was so proud to see you train hard and complete the cross country. You persevered right to the end and used great courage. Well done!
Superb reading, writing and maths Josh. You have developed some great multiplicative thinking in maths and are confident when working out multiplication problems. You are beginning to use the 'chunking' method well when working with division problems. The ending to your fairy tale was great and I have noticed you 'getting into' lots of good books.

Week 5 Term 3
This week our virtue award goes to Amelia. You always use EXCELLENCE and determination in every aspect of school life. You have so many senior responsibilities and manage your time to fit them all in. Your confidence and ability when solving difficult maths problems has improved immensely - you should be very proud of yourself. I have also noticed what a superb learning buddy you have been to your room 8 buddy. You are always patient and helpful.

This week we have two Excellence Awards. Well done Myra and Alex. I observed you this week during a complex Maths session with Mr M. You worked hard to learn and use the process to work out complicated fraction problems. Well done!
Term 2 Week 8
This week our Virtue Award goes to Theo for always using the virtues of Respect and Empathy. This week you had the courage to speak up and help out another class member and to remind others of how you should treat others. Thank you for showing empathy, respect and courage and helping create a kind and caring environment in Room 6.
Our Excellence Award this week is awarded to Grace. You have been so enthusiastic and involved in our water inquiry this term. You have asked good questions and endeavoured to find the answers to them. You have shown passion and determination to help spread messages to help protect our precious waterways, especially through your newspaper writing.
Term 2 Week 7
The Room 6 Excellence Award this week goes to Luke. He is working hard with his Maths and progressing well. He is confidently working at stage 7 and is determined to reach stage 8 with his knowledge. Keep up the great work Luke.
The Room 6 Virtue Award this week goes to Myra. Myra gets this award for 2 reasons. Firstly, I want to acknowledge the amazing job you are doing with the food buckets. You are using the virtues of responsibility and perseverance with this job.
