Plot
Earwig was an orphan and Bella and Mandrake adopted her.  They made her a slave.
Earwig discovers that the witch Bella Yaga had a cat called Thomas.  Thomas helped Earwig make a spell to protect both of them from Bella Yaga's spells. 
I recommend this book to people who like witches and weird demons.

Bear retells the stories of people that have used courage and surviving almost impossible situations. 

I think that the book is great and my favourite story is when the rugby team got stuck in the Andes.  I recommend the book for boys and anyone who likes adventure.

I gave it a 5 star rating.
